David Leverington - Founder
David is a true example of a young successful entrepreneur; having grown up in a music industry family he started a small sound business at the age of just 13 years. Earning his keep and growing his experience throughout high school he then furthered his studies post schooling at the school of sound recording based in Manchester UK.
Upon returning to South Africa, he formalized the company growing the client database to include large corporates and governments departments.
In 2006, he rebranded to form Above and Beyond Productions to which the company has successfully grown year on year.
David, is a master networker attending many business networking and social events. He enjoys Outdoor sports such as Long board Surfing, Mountain Biking, Scuba Diving and many more.
Chuma Tyolo - Sales Representative
Chuma joined the team in 2012 as a junior technician. His enthusiastic approach and motivated personality has seen him move more into the sales department.
He is technical trained as a sound engineer from Damelin college. Chuma is a real people’s person and loves to make music in his home studio.
Iwan Nasilowski - Event Technician
Iwan Joined the team in 2013 after his previous national based event company closed its Port Elizabeth branch. He is excellently skilled in the AV (audio Visual) department as well as building of our stages and stage sets.
Although not technically trained he has many years of on the job experience and a full knowledge base on event technical that makes up for it.
He enjoys traveling, fishing and sports.
Nceba Mathula - Junior Technician
Nceba AKA "Kermit" joined the team at the end of 2012 and has grown his event skill set throughout the years. He is a qualified welder and great at building our stages and stage sets.
He enjoys rigging and working the outdoor events. He is currently increasing his knowledge base in the sound and lighting departments.
A Very hard working and dedicate employee who enjoys “chillaxing” in his spare time.
Riana Alexander - Acc Department
Riana joined the team in 2013 and plays the most important part in the business. Making sure we get paid!
She is the Friendly voice you first hear on the other side of the phone. Riana takes care of the office day to day from filing to banking as well as all accounts admin duties.
She also keeps the rest of the (all male) team in line.
She enjoys, spending time with her kids, and she is also a nail artist.
